Each panel on the back of the chair is in contrasting fabrics including velvets, silks and beautiful lace and linen, held in place with hand tied buttoning. The cushion is reversible: yellow cotton damask on one side and fuschia pink tweed on the other, finished in vintage piping.
It sits on dark wooden legs on castors, all original.

Re-upholstered in fuschia pink pure wool tweed with cushion pad in beautiful linen and lace fabric. I have used this gorgeous pink tweed on several pieces now and on this piece combined it with an exquisite linen and lace fabric that I found in Berwick Street, Soho.
